Wouldn't it be funny if out of no where, Half-life 2 is announced gold AND ships on Sept. 30th. Vivendi and Valve will just do it out of the irony that it would be Sept. 30th, and no one would expect it.

You what would even be more funny....Half-life 2 really did ship on Sept. 30th 2003 it's just that the shipping got screwed up and all the HL2 cd's went into the boxes for the barbie game :upstare:

There is never middle ground on these boards. It's either extreme optimism - ie this and the people who still think the MP will be more that CS:S

or

extreme pessimism (sp?) - ie the game won't be out till 2005 etc.

Why can't people just take the facts at hand and think logically for a second.

The game will be out soon (mid October - late November) and will only have CS:S as the MP. That is what we pretty much have as far as reliable guesses / information goes at this point in time.

I don't follow you...

I have given a 2 month window for the release of HL2 and have followed the facts about the MP aspect of the game.

So if you are saying that is an optimistic view then you must really be down on this game.

as long as they don't take away SP and decide that all people want is CS:S, then im still fairly optimistic.. if you still don't follow me. follow me to my refridgerator as i get something refreshing to drink. yum yum!
