ok bmrf and asl were competing over Government funding right?
maybe BMrf made a deal with the Government they would give Gordon to them if they would get the funding. therefore explaining why you see gman speaking to bmrf people near the beginning of HL1 and eli knowing about gman

this is only a thought and is highly unlikely and deosn't really make sense but wanted some comment on its plausibility :thumbs:
