I think that gman is the one responsible for gordon and alyx to arrive a week later from nova prospect. We already know he controls time, so he is the most obvious person to do that. But his grasp on time must be pretty weak, because why not just teleport back in time and stop the combine from existing. Unless he can only stop time and travel to the future. Any sightings of G-man in nova prospect?

I don't see why he would do that. It would seemingly go against his principles of stopping the Combine. By delaying Alyx and Gordon, he allows the Combine to quickly strike back and get a better strangle hold on an already dying city. Keeping Gordon and Alyx "out of comission" for a week seems to help no one but the Combine, something that conflicts with all of his previous anti-Combine behavior.

Unless the G-Man was hired by the combine to take Breen and his Transhumans out of the picture while giving them a better excuse to strangle earth. The combine doesn’t seem too concerned with justification though. I think if they wanted Breen out of the picture they would trounce him… its something to chew on anyway.

wow you must be really stupid, or you just havent played the game, if you arent some deaf dumb retard and paid attention right after you get through the portal and learn that its been a week you also learn that in that week the resistance finally got the momentum it needed after your battle at the prison, and IN that week a massive upheaval has started and thats why theres hundreds of resistance fighting with you in the last levels dumbass.. what you thought after the combine crippled the main resistance base that they could muster that much force to drive back the combine to their citadel in a week with no help from you? think again dumbass, by keeping freeman out of the picture for a week the people took to his example and rose up for freedom, if you dont understand the concept of what a martyr is, please dont reply to this.

I dont think so bdunin, the combine teleportation is shit that's why they want Alyx's father. The combine prob ported to Earth at the start of HL1 and it just took them a year to get here. But i dont work for VALVe so i may be wrong
