Garridan's Tears Glitch ;(

Ok, so here's how it goes:
I'm going the Garridan's Tears quest, and I just got to the cave they're in. The problem is, I can't enter. When I press the action key, nothing. What's worse, when I walk to the door, I just walk straight through it, into a small, completely black space behind it. In fact, this happens with all the surrounding rocks. In short, I'm clipping through the goddamn thing!

I've googled this a bit, and nobody seems to have this problem. I found another place with the same issue- an Ayleid ruin that I simply walked clean through. But now, it seems like I can't complete the quest ;(... anybody have this problem/a solution?

This same thing happened to me in Kvatch. Clipping through geometry and I couldn't activate the only door I needed to go through.

A simple restart of Oblivion fixed the problem for me. (Of course, this took me much longer to figure out than it should have... damn bugs) I hope you have similar luck. :thumbs:

Garridans tears was a good quest. Really liked that one. Lucky too since where it is is just a short detour from the DB sanctuary.

I spent far too long looking for them on the floor though.

Look how much time you lost alerting the internets and browsing the forums, while you could have simply restarted/reloaded and used this time to play Oblivion ;]. It's a logical thing to do, c'mon you're a PC user!
