GeForce... GOOD CARD???

i was wondering if anyone out there had a GeForce 5700FX, i have been told it should run HL2 AND CS:S well but i just wanted you people who have had it to confirm this

yeah it will, but its advised to go down the ati route for HL2 apparently they work better together...but that card will work kinda okay.

I've got that card in my laptop (well that 64 MB Geforce Go version, yours might run better). Runs HL2 fine on 1024x768 with everything on medium and shadow- and shaderdetail on high, water on reflect world.

CPU used: AMD64 3000+

ok cool hanks guys i think the 256 mb version SHOULD run a bit better maybe on high but who knows i will let you know when i get my nrew system

i hava a geforce 5200 fx, and it runs it nicely. i only get lowered fps when i am fighting guys around water

Nvidia=better OpenGL (or so I've heard)
ATI=better D3D (also as I have heard)
