Does ne one know how to fix geometry corruption in games? I have it in all my games now, and its only started recently (id say in the last 2 or 3 months). Idk what to do and its really annoying.

post your System info first then we may help you1!

My system:
Windows XP service pack 2
Pentium 4 2.4 GHz processor
Radeon 9800 pro 128 AGP (latest drivers)
1 gig of ram
soundblaster audigy (latest drivers)

scan your system with the anti-virus + spyware

then do the following:

1- right click on the desktop toolbar
2- choose task manager
3- then try to copy and past all the process running their

I think its to do with a process effecting your card driver.

I had the same problem with my 6800ultra sli cards when I installed the latest Audigy driver 1.84 I did some configuration to the setting of my card by installing nvtweak.

try to post your background tasks in here

it wont let me copy the processes, should i be looking for a specific one thats causing the problem? What do u mean by background tasks?

I don't have screenshots but it happened a while back when my old video card overheated. Polygons go nuts, triangles stretch randomly and textures apply themselves to random stuff. I did a serious WTF when I saw it happen, all the geometry warped out and turned random rainbow colors and the wall textures appeared on the floors and then prop textures on the walls and floors and everything merged into a mash of triangles. My pc reset itself 2 seconds into it.

I wish I had a screenshot. It was a real "what the shit" kind of moment, and I was too busy watching it to think to F5 the sucker.

thats exactly what happens, im trying to get a screen shot but there too big to upload, ne one know how to make them smaller?

DO the following:

1- click on start, choos run
2- type cmd
3- type tasklist
4- right click any where and choose mark
5- highlight the process/s and then hold ctrl+c while holding the left mouse down
6- past them here

by the way I think, its to do with heat or a driver

I'd say its heat related, whats teh air flow like in your pc? GFX card fan being blocked by a PCI Card or hanging wires? Dust build up on your gfx card fan?

its cooled by fans, theres one fan on my graphicz card, and one other fan in there somewhere. I have noticed an increased heat from my machine. I can feel my case around where my graphics card is, and i can feel its quite hot. How would i stop it from everheating? Is there anything you can recomend?

Just have a look inside and look for dust buildup around the fans and also make sure that the wires are nice and neat too. Dust buildup is probably the most common case with heat as the fans simply can't breathe and cool the componants. You could always download everest home edition here: http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?pid=1&lang=en and goto Computer --> Sensor and tell us the temp of your cpu and your motherboard because you can get a rough idea of what the cooling is like for your case from teh temps you get. But thats not really necessary, just if you can be bothered. Other than that, just check the fans and look for dust build up.
