Is there a command in the config.cfg or something like that that lets you put bloody holes into people once you killed them (a la Far Cry) and/or make the blood squirt when you shoot them as if they were a live!?!?!?!??

I believe there is not a command to do that. Sadly....

There has to be! I know it. I.E if there is a corpse on the ground from a person you did not kill (AKA was just placed there with the map editor for a dramatic effect) you CAN shoot it and make holes in it.

yeah I was sort of disappointed you couldn't paint the floor red from a dead body like you could in HL. Heh heh ...

Enter any of these commands in the console.

violence_ablood [0,1] - If set to 1 shows alien blood when they are hit. Disabling this can improve performance but reduce realism.

violence_agibs [0,1] - If set to 1 shows alien gore when they are hit. Disabling this can improve performance but reduce realism.

violence_hblood [0,1] - If set to 1 shows human blood when they are hit. Disabling this can improve performance but reduce realism.

violence_hgibs [0,1] - If set to 1 shows human gore when they are hit. Disabling this can improve performance but reduce realism.
