gman and the vortigaunts

has anyone noticed with the new intro how the vortigaunts stop the gman and get him angry? and that throughout the entire game neither vortigaunts or the gman show up? some shits goin down i think...

I think the Vorts are just getting "the hell outta dodge." Though the Gman not appearing has been accepted as showing at this point in the story he's no longer in control.
