GMOD won't start.

Help please?

I downloaded GMOD 9 to see if 10 might be worth the price, but when I try to open GMOD, I get the following message-

MountFilesystem ( 241 ) failed:
SteamMountFilesystem ( 5184,241,0x138ffc64=,0x138ffd64 ) failed with error number 5: No Steam Content Servers are availible





What does that mean?

I have HL2, HL2: DM,HL2:Lost Coast,Portal: First Slice and Flatout Demo installed and they all run fine,
I have the Source SDK base 2007 also, so why does it say no Steam Content is available?

edit: Could it be Source SDK engine hasn't finished downloading?

i believe its not supported anymore. try a very old version. like 8.

GMod 9.04 needs CSS to run.

Apparently GMod 9.0 runs fine without CSS provided you delete its CounterStrike folder.

GMod 10 only needs a game with the Source SDK, which you have.
