grenade/RPG explosions have disappeared from my map

heh, doesn't make much sense. but when grenade and rpg exposions go off, that explosion graphic just isn't there, i have no idea when it started along the development. its the strangest thing. and of course it had to happen to my map. aRgh! any ideas?

fixed. had too many dustmotes. supposedly too many sprites being drawn and the game will get cut down on them automatically for speeds sake.

You'd think it would cut the dust motes before the explosions.
