half life 2 cheats

i was browsing through the original half life 2 cheats and i found there were cheats for beta weapons and normal. for example could i unlock the ice axe (beta weapon) using the original version of half life using the cheats and not mods.

I seriously doubt it, since the original Half Life was released years before they even began working on these weapons that were cut from HL2...

Not that I am aware of. You can get Alyx gun, and Father Rs rifle..but other than that, you're SOL, I am afraid.

hmm but that doesnt't explain the cheats i found that unlock the cut weapons unless there is a beta version of half life2

All those are from the stolen/leaked alpha released version of HL2 - they are not in HL2. The extra unlockable weapons in HL2 include the alyx gun & the annabelle shotgun. That list you have is very very old.
