I can understand that. Really, I’m just tired of the plain sound effects in HL2 so I am now making more detailed player sounds. For example take the sprinting sound, it sounds like sort of like an odd gush of wind whereas now I'm imagining that when Gordon sprints, some energy from his main battery source on his suit is zaped into small leg motors doubling his speed. And for v2 (if anyone cares) I’m working on new bullet impacts where instead of being shot and hearing a peace of meat being stabed, it now sounds like a small part of Gordon’s suit is being ripped off with sparks shooting out and Gordon going “ARPH!”. So I can understand why you'd say its unnecessary, i just feel like playing a more detailed Half-life 2. These arn't just for HL2, you can also use them in HL2 deathmatch.
