Half life 2 saved game

Can someone explain to me how to get back where I left off before my pc crashed and then I had to start over again. I dont want to start from the beginning but where I left off. I'm hoping someone can send me the saved game file about half way through the game.

It's like sv_unlockedchapters (number) or somethin.
