I was wondering if any had the link for the Half Life 2 video. Where someone points out the flaws in the game. I just got the game for Christmas and a buddy of mine already had it and finished. I would like to show him the video. I had on my system but now I can't find it.

Haha, that was one funny movie. And yes, I agree that the AI was at best mediocre. Unreal had better AI in my opinion.

I did try the the jar trick and it worked. Except I had used a box instead.

EDIT: BTW, if those are the only flaws, I would call it a PRETTY damn good game...

I get the impression whoever made that video takes gaming a bit too seriously. Its a game, its fun, its not perfect, hey lets spend hours pointing that out to people who don't see sunlight often.

The machine gunner was firing but not at him.

When I tried I used a box and didn't get shot at one bit.

I also tried the jar trick in the beginning of the game when he gets off the train. If you throw an object at one of the guards they will run after you and hit you with their batton.

I threw a bottle at one of the guards then quickly picked up a box and pointed it at his face and he didn't attack.

Now I can't say that this would work all the time but the two times I have done it, it worked.
