I'm looking for that "screenshot" of "Half-Life 3" that was a real picture with the nicely rendered combine APC and metrocop standing in a street. It's quite old.

If anyone knows where I can get it I'd be very thankful!

~Mad.

Well, that was certainly a very informative and conclusive post.

Gimme a minute, I'll try to find it.

Get out, this is a forum, forums are for questions and answers. Google.com is not an answer.
Hmm, you're right.

Google.com with keywords: "Half-life 2 +hdr +rendered +models" would've been a bit more informative. Google.com is usually the answer to most questions that newbies post here.

If he kindly requests for help, I see no reason to treat such as trash.

I hate people who do the google post thing. Thats spam and its uncalled for. Someone asks a question people here who know answer.

I have this pic on my computer- ill upload hold on

ugh only allowed 100kb pics on this website o0. Anyways is that the pic? The regular version is much bigger :) - I had to shrink it

That's it. You can email it to me if you want (It's a bit small)

BTW, I used Google for about 3 hours and didn't find it. I must be inept.

So if I kindly asked you to find me "some cool screenshots of *****", then you would go out of your way to go find them for me while I sit on my ass, and play HL2 some more. Even though you have the same tools (internet, google, etc) as me to help you find what I'm looking for. Even though just typing what I'm looking for into google images would probably direct me to what I'm looking for, and that's probably how you would find it for me, and then send me the links. That I could have found myself.

Your so cool! If I was still a school kid (sigh, youth....), I'd get you to do my homework too.

We call people like you a doormat over here.

If someone can't be arsed trying google when looking for something easy to find, like pics of HL2, or walkthroughs etc, then someone typing "google.com" is a completely appropriate response. Why should others be expected to do the same search they should have done themselves?

If a genuine effort has been made, then by all means, ask for help. But a forum should not be the first stop for solutions to simple questions. It is usually pretty obvious when someone has made no effort to search- like when they post "help im stuck in hl2 need a wakthru wer do i get 1!". Just typing "HL2 walkthrough" into google presents many options. Or when people don't use the search function in a forum, and post a question that is answered daily in that very forum, and there is often a thread or two right underneath the thread they started. I can't stand laziness.

are you serious? all he asked was a simple question. Im sure hes already tried google and couldnt find it. So he went a a forum (this one) and posted a question. Now there are alot of helpful people on here but people like yourself do not help out in anyway. Calling him lazy is ignorant.

In that case, just don't post in the thread! That's what people are annoyed at here, that someone posted 'google.com' as a reply, which was totally unnecessary.

Hmm? I guess 3 hours isn't much of an effort, eh? And the original post changed.

Put simply: GTFO, troll.

Look ****job, I asked if anyone had it or knew where it was, not to go looking for it.

Learn to use your eyes, you seem to have mastered what little wit you have.

I know some people are uptight about newbies, but damn man, even I don't outburst like that (I'm fairly intollerent of ignorence).

I don't go asking for help unless I have exausted all my options. So please, until you know everything about a situation, don't question when someone asks you for help. You lose your honor when someone comes to people for help and you put them down.

Spineless git...

@Bigburpco, yeah, considering I tried for 3 hours and didn't find it...

P.S.; You calling me a troll?

Don't worry, he's like that all the time.

@MadCat360: I was trying to show Shasta the effort you put in. No offense (well, it's to Shasta anyways).

EDIT: Calling Shasta a troll for completely failing to take notice other people's post which is something that pops everywhere, I guess.

A few minutes in painland would fix that I bet... under a superior officer.

Added. :D

bryan and bigburpco: I never attacked the original poster. In fact I agreed that as long as a genuine effort had been made, he was fine.

I was pointing out the sheer stupidity of you defending lazy people, and doing the searching for them. That's all.

EDIT: madcat. Learn to read before calling people a ****job. You are as bad / stupid as the others after all.

You made that post look like an attack on me. Use "one" when referring to an unspecific individual.

Learn to speak your own language. Methinks you walk the line too closely...

I'm sure "one" and "someone" are interchangeable in this context. Besides, who do you think you are- the fu*king Queen? No-one says "one" when referring to an unspecific individual, especially on a forum. You would have known what I meant if you read it properly. Dumbass. Check my original post properly, before you start to comment on that sort of thing.

I never even mentioned you, moron. In fact I quoted and responded to bigburpco initially, not you. I even said, (once again), that as long as you had made an attempt to search, you were fine. I was responding to his defending people -in general- that don't bother to search at all.

Perhaps sheer stupidity is why your searches were unsuccesful for you.

And you don't know what my own language is, dumbass.

It doesn't matter. It's up to you to make sure your post can't be taken as an attack, just because it makes sense in your own little world doesn't mean that other readers won't take "you" as meaning them. In fact, I could see the possibility of anyone who has ever posted a question taking offense to that.

But, since you seem socially inept and boarderline psychotic, I must excuse you.

It's up to you to read properly and understand, before you type. Don't cry to me because you can't sit at the big peoples table.

If you can't take responsibility for something then I'm sorry. I'm sorry you have to make petty attempts at blaming. I'm sorry for misunderstanding your post, but you do have an obligation to comminicate properly. The fault is not completely mine.

Not all people at the big table are mature, either.

Ok. Now you are just proving how dumb you are. My post was clear to anyone with a brain, and the sense to read it properly. But hey, mistakes can happen, and you made one. Then I even spelled out the intent of my post for you. The fact that you are still trying to go on about it shows just how stupid you are.

But please, continue....

Please don't.
