Half Life CD 5 Missing...Help?

Okay, my brother gave me HalfLife 2 for Christmas, i opened it up and saw it only had 4 cds, there was 5 cases though?

Then i realised i needed 5 cds, i can't contact him about it... Family Problems...

But i have Steam Installed and have an Account, i also have the Key on the back of one of them white cases...

This half life 2 pack includes CounterStrike Source aswell.

I saw another person exactly like me... People told him to Validate CD Key on Steam client...

I done that, and because it was a gift, i don't have the game installed...

It says "Half life 2 Retail needs to be installed before... yada yada."

Can anyone help?

You can download the game through Steam as long as you have CD-Key.

Nah, as i said. An error comes up saying you need to Install it first before you validate.

Are you sure that you went to my games and clicked activate a product on steam?
