Half Life Hi Rez pack?

How can I use this with STEAM Half Life? :|

Search for Half-Life HD pack in the steam store and it should be able to out-install on your game. Tough, sometimes it messes up and you only get the HD pack in 1 of the games, sometimes not at all. (Just from what I've experienced.) But, really, it doesn't improve much. Why not just play the games with the regular models?

Tough, sometimes it messes up and you only get the HD pack in 1 of the games, sometimes not at all. (Just from what I've experienced.)

quite right, the install corrupts if you run a mod,(it uninstalls itself from Half-Life).

I wish Valve implemented the HD pack in a better way.
