half-life2 sucks ! half-life was soo good but what have they done ? they destroyed the good story and game play .. now you could ask why they did it . ! they did it to interest people who didnt like or never played half-life1 ! so dumb .. valve :dozey: awww .. its just incredible i dont find the right words for this egoistic only for money going shit !

I think you're tying to bait some people, but everyone's entitled to their own opinions. A few of my friends have said they much preferred the claustrophobia of the first game, but I have to admit, I do like HL2's setting.

As I recall, HL1's storyline was very similar to Doom's classic 'beasties invade from another dimension'. As much as I like that theme, it's not really sustainable over a series, and I'm glad they progressed.

Allow me to summarize the points of the people who didn't like Half-Life2:

Now, granted, some of these points are tough to argue against, but I personally feel that Half-Life2 is the best game ever made.... better than Chess, better than Soccor, better than Monopoly, even better than Starcraft.
