I'm sure I've seen this before so I searched and found nothing.
All my icons in 3d view are blurred like hell. (lights, relays, counters, the works) Is there a fix. Not that it's a major problem but I'd like it not to be there.
The problem is that one of the Hammer updates a couple of months ago modified 3D rendering to be more technically correct. The net effect of this was that all sprites not explicitly compiled with a certain no-blur parameter are blurry in Hammer.
go to where the shortcut for hammer is (sourcesdk/bin) then put it on desktop. Go on properties and after the 'target' and after the " put
-dxlevel 80 after it, seperating the end of target and this with a space. This then lets you open ahmmer directly from desktop and with the problem sorted. Soem textures look slightly different, but thats the only change.
