HDR in steam offline mode?

Hey,can anyone tell me if HDR works in Steam Offline Mode?

It probably does. Why wouldn't it? Just make sure your version of Lost Coast is downloaded completely (To check, click this link : steam://validate/340)

That's because HDR isn't done yet for those. HDR requires to have 3 textures instead one texture. So they have to remake the entire game. It'll take a while, just hang tight

EDIT : You can, however, have bloom for HL2.

Hl2 has bloom and nice shiny new shaders now anyway, you don't need the bloom mod.

You can enable HDR in HL2, but it really doesn't look at all like it should, because it's not complete. If you want to see it anyway: "mat_hdr_enabled 1" the game will freeze for a few seconds while it re-downloads the lightmaps.

edit: Indoor areas look like crap. Outdoor areas look somewhat decent, though you can't really notice any HDR because it's not there. Water becomes very bright, and your weapon models will be very shiny and reflective.
