I really hate it when people are biased towards a certain system or game. I have an xbox and a great PC so I know that Halo 2 is brilliant fun and so will HL2 nodoubtly. These Halo 2 v HL2 things are just plain rediculous. Yes halo 2 dosnt have the physics and graphics of HL2. Who cares? Its still a damn fun game to play with a great story and gameplay as will Half life 2. Ye one will obviously be better than the other and i'm putting my money on half life 2 but that dosnt make halo shit. Its still brilliant *sigh*

Because some people see it as a representation as to how people in general see the 2 games. If Halo 2 wins, when people read the poll they get this general feeling that Halo must be really good if it beat HL2 and people will start to subconsciencely (sp?) think Halo 2 is better.

in the long run, there is no point in comparing games from differant platforms. yes i know that they are both fps and yes i know that half life 2 will be on the xbox later next year. there is 10x more gaming pc's compaired to xbox's. so half life will get more votes in the long run.
