Help! Steam user in destress.

Hey i have just downloaded steam, and have put in my details. After choosing DOD and of coarse HL as the only 2 games to add to steam i am now a bit stuck. You see after adding them 2, i cant seem to add CS tfc etc without having to download the whole thing off the net.

Anyone got a solution?

Yeah well you do actually need to download them.

First of all reinstall Steam so that you can add the games, then it will transfer any existing installations over, then they will need to update before you play as during the Steam beta there was some nice changes and bug fixes that will need to be patched up.

I'd suggest you do it before you go to bed because it's a largeish download.

I think Conversion tools are going to be released later, according to Erik Johnson.

Not very well thought out that you cant enter the wizard again, this is annoying...

Just reinstall, it shouldn't mess up anything you've already done.
