Help with model viewer/browser in Hammer?

When I open up the model viewer/browser, on the top right of the window it says ERROR in big red letters, I can click on the folders on the left side of the screen, but when I click on an individual model file name, my cursor dissapears, and a few seconds later Hammer crashes.

Anyone have any idea whats up?

Ok it only does it when I select Characters > hostage____. The hostage model's arn't there? I'm running the default CS:S configuration. Won't load it modelviewer either.

The big error is just because the big red error model is selected.

Why you want the hossie models anyway? Aren't they randomized upon compile?

Not sure, Just something I discovered wasn't working like it should and want to know why the hostie models arn't there.
