help with the end of the game (SPOILERS)

When Breen is in the bubble thing, how do I stop him from teleporting? I can kill those gunships, and I shoot the energy balls at those metal things and they just bounce up and go back down...help? thanx

keep shooting energy balls at those spinning metal plates around breen as he goes to teleport. when the portal opens shoot an energy ball into it. end of game.
