Help

I am stuck so very early on this game. I am in a room that I fell into with a bunch of headsaws water beolw and in a room to the right. There is piping up top but not usre how to get out (I think its the canal section).

PLEASE HELP

Go up the ladder, across the pipes, into the next room, jump down the pipes, turn the valve, go back into the last room, swim down through the large hole.
