Helvetica.

Never before have I felt such love for a font. I've never really...noticed it before, I guess.

Now I want to make hot love with it.

Helvetica creates the biggest divisions with designers. Some swear by it, some hate it.

Also the font in your post is clearly not Helvetica.

The problem with Helvetica is it's ubiquitous. It's the no brainer default design choice, and therefore outside of public signage stinks of laziness from a designers perspective. There are thousands of professional fonts out there, and quite a few are just as delightful as Helvetica both in design and legibility, but people are rushing about most of the time they never bother to investigate them, which is a pity...
