Highway 17 to Sandtraps question

Can I take the Buggy from Highway 17 further into Sandtraps? I just got in there, and I'm in the helluva dark tunnels full of Zombies. I assume I have to leave the buggy behind, but I made that mistake with the Airboat, giving up at a barricade too quickly and ended up trudging back ten minutes to retrieve it later.

Yes you can, just use the gravity gun to sweep away all the cars. Beleive me, you do NOT want to leave the buggy behind on those huge empty roads.

Yes, this is why you have the Gravity Gun. Blast the cars out of the way.
