History repeats itself

Stolen avatar day? my apologies, I didn't know.

I'll be right back...

I've been to 3 or 4 LAN parties with people I've met through our Clan. Although we do a fair share of gaming, usually, the highlight of the weekend is going out and getting wasted in the host's local or town centre.

Alos, it's a myth that LAN parties are predominantly attended by geeks. Most of the people I've met aren't in the slightest bit geeky at all, often they are married and some even have kids. PC gaming is a break from the reality of life, it's great, as long as you don't take it too seriously.

could be masked hero, be you babyheadcrab or some other crazed vigilante?

If "SiN" was a highly anticipated, why can't some of us remember it?

I think I remember a little about it...but I don't remember a whole lot about it.

I'm guessing it's because it wasn't a great game. I remember seeing ads every once in a while for Half-life but if it hadn't come out to such amazing reviews, I'll bet that right now I'd be asking why I can barely remember a game that was anticipated as highly as Half-Life...

I ment if Valve did rls hl2 about the same time Activision rlsed, then indeed history has been repeated. Sin was buggy but was also fun, could have made more of a hit, if Valve didn;t PLAN to rls when Sin hit retail. Sneaky publishers...
