Show of hand who liked it?

personally i loved it superb ending weird but weirdly nice ending music
somehow it suceeded in scaring in a crappy way with crappy skins and model

i give it 9/10 --- excellent since its still a mod

give a post if you liked it
 
well it wasnt too bad. i was scared to turn the next corner most of the time, and it did a good job at scaring the shit outta me. only by part 3 i wasnt getting scared, more like annoyed at hearing "we hungerrrrrrr" and moans over and over again.
 
I played them, they were good. One of the better single-player experiences.
 
Possibly one of the best mod's for Half-Life. It would be criminal if there are no plans for new episodes with Half-Life 2.

Agree'd, was great fun that mod. Though I never got to complete it cause there was some bug or something, one day I'll reinstall it though and mess about with it some more.
 
It was a fun mod, but it's quite lack lusture by today's standards really.

neil manke and his team are brilliant. i wonder what they're up to nowadays.
 
The best SP-mod i've played is "The Gate".

It's simply magnificent.. plays in WOII with resistance and all also..also with voice acting, it's great.

I'll have to try they hunger also ..

The majority of SP maps I've played since then have only been getting better. If you compare They Hunger to what they're like nowadays, it's not that impressive.

As for SP mods, Half-Life: Nightwatch looks like it will become the greatest SP mod of all time. :) The people involved in the project are very talented people.

While the map architecture is low par compared to whats being made these days, its scripting, atmosphere and immerssion is unbeaten - I havent played anything that beats it in those areas.

And as for nightwatch they've lost their two prize mappers, which is a shame as Bad Mofo and Ken Banks were well above anyone else.

Oooh, I love that mod! Classic zombie feel, with a great Night of the Living Dead B-movie vibe. Definately my favorite zombie-based game, and it's just a mod.

Its about you, a author lost in the country side after a carcrash fighting to survive after the dead rise up and attack you. Basically a survivial situation

its in SP 3 episode in all

Sorry to bump such a ridiculously old thread, but I've been wanting to replay the original They Hunger trilogy and can't seem to find it online anywhere. Fileplanet only seems to have the Steam patch and the They Hunger 2 to 3 download. Any help?
 
I liked the game... Including Sheriff Zombies who pose a unique threat with guns.

Yeah, They Hunger: Source (Lost souls) is coming up but it's a pity that you need to pay cash in order to play it and it means, buying.

See if I have enough money to buy it, that is, if it is been released...

First mod I ever played, before I really knew what a mod, or Half-Life, was.
Loooong time ago. Probably still have the install disc. It came from some magazine.
Fun game, at the time. Kinda creepy.

I just can't wait till the official sequel is released, I'm defintely paying for it, it deserves it
