HL2 at 1600X1200??

Has anyone managed to get HL2 running at 1600X1200 or is the highest resolution 1280X1024...at least..that is the highest the game will let me choose... :hmph:

It has to do with what the highest resolution your monitor supports. Mine only supports up to 1280x1024 just like yours. So yeah, no 1600x1200 for you.

But the strange thing is....is that I can run other games at 1600X1200.... :|

Wow, uh ok, thats strange. Well I think in the launch options its possible to maually set it from there. I think L-1600 W-1200 or somthing similar. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure if thats how it is.

EDIT: Yeah, it doesn't work, I tried it with a lower resolution, no change.

EDIT 2: Found it: -width 1600 -height 1200 Thats what it should look like in the launch options.

No problem :thumbs: . I like going here and on the Community Support forum and help people out as best as I can. I don't know why though, I guess its just because if I was in need of help, I would want a fast response. Heh, I'm weird.
