HL2 Brazil-inspired anyone?

I recently saw Brazil (excellent SF-dystopia-film) and couldn't help noticing some similarities between HL2 and Brazil. Anyone else feel that way?

Good movie.... Been so long since I've seen it I cannot remember much tho. I guess I will have to watch it again now.
