HL2 Crashes on Vista

When I play HalfLife2 on Vista it randomly crashes. Does anyone know the fix for this?

Where and when is it crashing? What are your specs?

I think I have the same problem as the original poster and I can elaborate a bit. I can start up HL2 and play for awhile, around 20-30 minutes, tops, before my computer randomly does a complete shutdown. One minute I'm playing and then BOOM black screen and my computer's restarting. I can play other source games like Left 4 dead 1&2 for hours without anything happening. It only seems to happen on Half life 2
