HL2 has to be reinstalled after Steam Update?!

What's this crap I'm seeing that HL2 is NOT installed when it IS?! Ever since Steam got a face lift, it's telling me I have to install HL2. I ALREADY have it installed!!! :frown:

Is it not finding it in the registry?

EDIT: Nevermind this. I tried to install it. It ran for a few seconds, then it said it was available in My Games.... weird.
Everything's OK now. HL2 is launching again.

Just keep on clicking. It'll download for like five seconds or so, because it will notice that everything is already downloaded.

When there is a SOURCE engine update, every aspect of the engine has to be updated. Including HL2. It is not missing, just waiting for the engine fix to be applied.
