HL2 is scarier than I thought....

If you haven't seen the Big movie yet....well I don't need to tell you to watch it! I never thought Half-life 2 would be that disturbing.....SO COOL!!

And it's not just the aliens that are freaky, the world itself with the good physics and stuff is also scary...I mean it feels like your not in a game! And with all those objects being flung into the air, shot with the grav. gun, kicked by the stryder, people on fire, aliens on fire, aliens being cut in half....DAMN!

Well in terms of scaryness...I would probably have to say that Doom 3 might be scarier than Half-life 2. But who knows.

Maybe the Nintendo presentation shocked people as much as this, but this far that's the only thing that comes close.

And yes, HL2 is scary, imagine a part where 5 of those 'leaper zombies' jump at you.
And then the screaming of the zombies on fire, really creepy. I think HL2 is the most entertaining zombie slayer game out there, in what other game can you use the environment to chop up zombies?

I think HL2 has it all, zombie slaying horror, adrenaline pumping racing, large scale city combat, Gordon's solo combat against the combine, puzzles, NPC interaction, story, atmosphere... *drool*

I jumped a little when Gordon was batting those hanging legs in the graveyard area, then the Zombie came up from the left straight out of the shadows. I'm sure there'll be many more, and better situations like that in the full game.

wtf?! hl2 is scary like my socks :| hl2 is one of the most not scary games i played... go play silent hill 3 and then come and complain about the crulety of that game... this game is pure action less then scary... i saw every footage of that game and liked it but it surely wasn`t scary...

You know I have all the silent hill games and you cannot compair those to Half-life 2. Silent hill, adventure; HL2, FPS. I was simply saying that HL2 is a scary game for a FPS. But I believe Silent Hill 2 is more scary than 3. :E

well the zombie that came out of the shadow and his dad got into a little argument and....
