HL2 Map?

is there a map in hl2 that i should know about? there is no option to set a key to a map or anything of the kind....yet it's hard for me to believe that a game like this would be lacking in something so simple as a command map or something of the sort?????????????

a map so you don't get lost? otherwise I am very confused...

HL2 doesn't have a map like that...well there is the strategy guide...thats kind of a map...

There are overviews, you have to enable cheats..

cl_leveloverview 1

But HL2 isn't a game that would make sense with a map...

It would just be plain stupid. You don't give away answers to puzzles.
