HL2 mapping

will halflife2 mapping be the same sort of mapping as ef1,2 and other games useing the radient style display and mapping?.

If it is then im shit out of look because i couldnt do that :laugh:

I've only tried Radiant for CoD . And compared with the map editor of HL1 , for me Radiant was much more easy.

Very easy. Unless you are working with alot of triggers, and complex mapping, but for a standard deathmatch og cs_ or de_ level it should be pretty easy to get started on with a guide in hand.
 
Hammer is very easy to get to grips with. To make advanced, pretty and technically complex levels takes a lot of practise. But it's definitely not difficult to get started.
