Hi all,
I just heard that if you buy a retail version of HL2 it will not be possible to upgrade it to the Silver version via Steam. What's the point in this??
I think the majority of the people who buy HL2 get the retail version, and if later on you might want to try Day of Defeat: Source (or HL1: Source) you'd have to purchase the Silver version via Steam in order to do this and then basically own two copies of HL2, right? I mean, the Bronze package can be upgraded to the Silver one, so why doesn't this apply to the retail version as well?? This really sucks ass to be completely honest. :flame:
