HL2 unlock question

OK I finally preloaded steam on my pc using my friends broadband. Now when HL2 unlocks am i going to have to DL anything very big or at all when it happens because i only have dumb dial-up here at my house so i cant dl huge shit.

Should be a small download when it's unlocked. When CS:S unlocked it took only about 2 minutes to unlock on 128k DSL.
