how are screen shots made?

One more time for the newbies please? How are screen shots made and how is the console enabled? Thanks!

Console enabled by going to options, controls and then advanced.

Screenshots are made by pressing F5 which they go to the Screenshot folder and are saved as .Jpeg.

Unless you have a scandinavian keyboard, where the console doesn't work at all.

Under "play games", right click Half-Life 2 and add -console to launch options.

Under keyboard assignments, there is a key option for "Take Screenshot". Screenshots are saved under \\Steam\SteamApps\Email@Account\half-life 2\hl2\screenshots\

Unless you have a scandinavian keyboard, where the console doesn't work at all.

It does work, you just have to create a bind for it in the autoexec.cfg

bind F1 "toggleconsole"
