I got gamespot complete and downloaded a few Gabe interviews, one is mega cool and mentions about time and gordon (ooo!) and think you guys would enjoy it. I need to rip the audio out though because the video is just the city video and gabe.

I'd like to allow this, but I can't. If it's media that Gamespot requires you to pay for, you can't just distribute it freely across a forum.

Is it a new interview?

or old?

You can stream for free, with gamespot.

gah! I didnt even pay :D AlienWare has an XP theme that needs an email, they email you a gamespot complete 90 day free trial too (requires a credit card).

Maybe you guys could do that yourself and watch it!

Well, which video is it? Maybe it's possible to just stream it.

Basically he mentions that Gordon wakes up, hes confused as to why hes here, the last thing he remembers is being in Black Mesa, he feels aware that alot of time has passed but it hasnt to him, kinda thing.

He also mentions the multiplayer being very unique, he plays everyday and he wants to suprise the community...more as it comes.

Admits they suck hard at release date, upset that he lets the customers down.

That's a VERY OLD interview - May 2003.

Even before E3 2003, this was the 40 min interview, right?

Cool, steam it anyways, pretty awesome interview :bang:

is the MP dispute going on i mean this is kind of proof CS:S isnt the only MP. Since CS:S was started in january and this was way before then and the fact he uses the word unique and CS:S is about as far away from that as possible. I hardly think somin going that long would have been scraped. If there was somin that stoped the MP dispute just ignore this then :)

anyway, for prupose of providing information, here is how you can rip sound off any media running on your computer:
control panel -> audio options -> voice (tab) -> voice recording
click the volume... button, check the box under "sterio mix".

play your media, grab a sound recorder, record.

p.s. it's a good idea to test a few seconds first.
P.S. I'm not responsible how you use this info (disclaimer :P)

download jetAudio basic and go to its recording tab. select WhatUhear or Wave depending onyour version, and select your file destination and output etc. Then, hit record and play the file.

I think that the MP will be Team-Fortress plus a kind of RPG.

You can use Cooleditpro and just open with the "audio from video" option. There's a free trial on it too. :)
