you can, dont worry.

but to be honest all i wanted to do was play half life 2 sp and not all this steam and subscribtion

um, you can, no one is forcing you to download the game through steam with a subscription

I have the feeling this last week everything is turning into a chaos, all weird rumors, false releasedates, people bitching about steam.
Before this, all was so well organized, everything went smooth.

Well, you don't have to. If you just want to play singleplayer then you just need to buy the game. You don't need to download steam and mess with it at all. But, if you want to play multiplayer, then you will have to go and download steam.

its like single life, everything so fine and simple and fun , then u get married and hell brakes lose,

i want a divorce :rolling:

I can't remember a time when there wasn't weird rumours, false release dates and complaining about Steam.

dammit things have just started getting interesting, there was the odd bit of turbulence before, but only the delay rumore even came close to this (not just the steam thing).

Wait until the 3+ million people with Steam IDs are finished downloading their content... then things should start to settle down.
