how do I Start a command when the game starts ?

I want ai_norebuildgraph 1 to start up when i launch the game.
I made a new text file, autoexec.cfg and put it in the root hl2/cfg folder and in the text i wrote ai_norebuildgraph 1 but I have to type it in before i load a game all the time...
