So i know its been a long time scince i played HL2 but i remember the multiplayer and im dieing to play a few rounds with my bro whos over and for the life of me i cant figure out how to get on the multiplayer on our respectice steams can anybody help me please and thank you?

You'll both need a copy of Half Life 2 Deathmatch. Do you have that?

Usually if you have Half Life 2 you'll automatically have Half Life 2 Deathmatch - you'll just need to install it on Steam.

I preferred Deathmatch Classic to HL2 deathmatch, when I played on my PC. DMC felt faster paced to me. Not to mention I had more lag issues on HL2 than DMC.

Well DMC was made in like '95 thus not as pretty thus not as much lag
HL2 however is much more advanced
