Most Half Life 2 maps are like that. I especially like how in the first level, way off the main map there is a room where Breen is.

I don't noclip in the game myself, I just learned that from that Concerned Half Life 2 comic so I tried it out.

No I mean the way that area looks. It's a pretty weird spot to place a church. I know the maps are filled with rooms for live camera feeds and skybox houses and stuff.

Oh you mean the actual layout? Yeah I thought it was kinda of wierd too. The entrance to the Church was kind of hidden and off a distance from the town. Usually is in the center of the town, or the entrance is at least higlighted.

Plus the fact thats its right on a cliff. Not very smart place to put it...
