I made a single player hl2 map, yippy! (pics, map d/l)

This is a fun map, a serious of rooms filled with different fun enemies. I am not sure how to end it so i just put a bunch of barrels with explosives at the end of the level!

I just started mapping for css a couple weeks ago and I have to say it is very cool. Hammer is a really really well designed tool, it's just not very noob friendly... I don't think I could have figured it out just by messing with stuff, but if you find some tutorials to help you do what you want to do then it will all make sense and feel very natural after you start to get the hang of it.

Yep. HL2 is needed to be eligible to download the Source SDK (which includes Hammer, Model viewer and source code).

Once you do get HL2, you'll be able to download and install the SDK through Steam.
