I seem to be stuck at the Pump W/ Resevoir 1 and 2

I can drain the resevoir and refill but cant seem to get inwhile the reservoir is full due to the pump running.. Am i missing something obvious? Im guessing its solvable where im at.. due to the fact i cant go back via the broken walkway..

heh I managed to build a bridge out of stacking the empty pallets and placeing one barrel on the pallets then jumping back across over the broken bit.. but there is still nothing to do on the other side.. as well as no way to go back.. (well back far)

turn the pumps off.

then turn the pumps back on.

quickly jump off the railing and into the water, swimming under the grate towards where the pumps were previously stopping you.

swim into the right hand off shoot in front of the fan at the end.


if you were fast enough you will barely beat the fan before it starts back up and makes it impossible for you to swim down.

the room to the side will fill back with water allowing access to the pipe above ^_-



It took me a while to figure it out too...silly puzzle.
