I will upgrade my PC... please Help...

here are my PS specs:

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (1800 MHz)
ASUS A7V8X-X Series
256 MB RAM (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
GeForce FX 5200 128MB (Inno3D) - 64 bits =(
SAMSUNG SP0802N (80GB, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/133)
CD-ROM LG 52x32x52
Windows XP Professional

So... i saw people saying they can´t play Half-Life 2 with 512 RAM :O

what shall I upgrade?

I´m thinking on a Radeon 9800 pro 128mb 256bits and add 512 RAM (256 +512 = 768 xD)

my hl2 didn´t come yet... what would you do? please help..
(don´t suggest X800 cause I can´t buy it :thumbs: )

will I be able to play the game with 1800mhz? will it be laggy or something else?

no you will be fine...in fact you will love it....with my specifications i get beutifal graphics and great fps. You dont need an x800 for great graphics/performance

yep its well enough, and it will look nice but you cannot compair a 9800 to x800.

You will be perfectly okay with that setup. HL2 is nice even with lesser graphics cards (I have a 9600XT) if you have memory and CPU power...

It will look exactly the same on both cards. Its just the 9800 pro will be fast but the x800 will be lightning fast.
