Hi I have problem with my HL2

Everytime I load the game, it always says node out of graphic? something like that with A.I. Disabled wat's do i have to do ?
help me plz!

the A.I. disabled bug is a common fault with the warez version...therefore i have no suggestions to help...ever.

well i dunno i got the cd
i dun think i need steam to work my hl2

How many CD's did it take for you to install? Also, if you don't use steam then HL2 couldn't have possibly installed since it needs steam to authenticate/ register the CD key.

When you click the desktop icon to launch HL2, does any window pop up saying: "Preparing to launch" or something to that effect?
