Fake emails can be made. Its not hard.Why would doug not gabe tell everyone about the delay? Why would they invite people to their work place and not be busy? All these speculations and more..... but the thing that erked me in the email was the fact they said they had no " in store date" They didnt say a damn thing about a steam date....... how much you want to bet that if this is true it will still be steamed?

i agree, i mean who the fu** are shacknews, why are they so special that they get to be the only ppl told about the delay, and get to release the info on their website, which i am sure they just have got 100rds of thousands on hits on in the past hours. and as u say it wasnt even from gabe.

as its so close to the 30th, i dont think that the game will make that date, unless valve are managing to pull a missive stunt, but i dont belive this latest delay info that much really.

come on valvely old boy, i just want to run around smashing shit up, not to much to ask.

The Steam website is for Steam news only. That's why nothing has been posted there.

Also, a number of the sites have recieved the e-mail, not just one.

Accept it, it's delayed.
