Im stuck after I killed the Striders

Im at chapter 11 ''follow freeman'' and I have just killed the striders that is attacking the town. After I killed them I went to a place where a "truck" has crashed. I blown it away with my Gravity gun and start runing up the stairway. At the top the way is blocked, I guess I should jump up on the stairsrail and jump up to the place? But the crap doesn't work. What should I do ? help me please.

This sounds like the Strider encounter after the massive one in the plaza, when another on blasts through the tunnel and starts stomping through after you. You have to walk along fallen beams and ascend the building. You should find a box of rockets and you can just continue along the corridor.

If this isn't the place, just about every Strider encounter seems to end with you having to climb along some kind of beam. If this is the later encounter, run along the beams headed towards "the horse" as the resistance fighter puts it.

Screenshots would be nice. But, if you are where I think you are, in front of the domed Capitol looking building, you cant go back the way you are trying to go. Go into the big hole in the ground the striders blew open, go through the tunnel, take a hard left and go up the steep incline out of the hole, jump up the last ledge, take a right and see a bunker across the way run into it and out the other side, look again to the right for the exit out of the battle ground.
